Dr. Curran is a Native Southern Californian. He grew up in Mission Viejo and attended Loyola Marymount University. After graduation he attended UCLA School of Public Health. After one year he was accepted to Medical School and transferred to St Louis University School of Medicine. He continued his medical training in St Louis and completed specialty training in both internal medicine and pediatrics in 1996.
After eight years in the Midwest he was happy to relocate to Oceanside and set up his practice later that year. He has been caring for the medical needs of our community ever since. Dr Curran has had an interest in fitness. He has volunteered his time as team physician for the El Camino High School football team and as an advisor for the Tri City Wellness Center. He is currently working on effective fitness and nutrition strategies for his patients. He also has a broad experience in geriatrics and the management of the multiple complex medical problems that can occur in the elderly. He is always working to improve the overall health of his patients and reduce the need for prescription medications.
